The ladies of ‘Sex and the City’ have earned a label of their own and have to make space on the shelf amongst their Manolo Blahniks, Jimmy Choos, and Louboutins for it–2010 ShoWest Ensemble Award–according to Variety. The organization of theater owners is gathering in Las Vegas from March 15-18 and will present awards to several screen gems that cause audiences to flock to the box office.
The return of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon to the big screen on May 27 in the ‘SATC’ sequel promises to have fashionable women running in stilettos and cocktail dresses to the theater for a ladies night out with their closest girlfriends.
"With the success of the first ‘Sex and the City’ movie release, based on the hugely popular HBO series, the cast of ‘Sex and the City 2′ have already garnered commercial and critical success for their roles as four friends making their way through life and relationships in the big city," Robert Sunshine, ShoWest co-managing director, told Variety.
