Fox has been toying with their release calendar, changing the date for ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ and assigning a date to the third ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ feature film.
According to Variety, the opening bell will ring for ‘Wall Street’ on September 24. It was originally scheduled for an April 23 release, but the film is hoping to be invited for screening at the Cannes Film Festival. The annual event takes place from May 12-23.
Directed by Oliver Stone, the follow-up to the 1987 film features original cast member Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko. Shia LeBeouf, Carey Mulligan, and Josh Brolin also join the stock market.
