Feb 9, 2010 Entertainment
ET has learned that Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson.
Bail has been set at $75,000. The prosecution reportedly wanted Dr. Murray’s bail to be set from $25,000 to $300,000 out of concern that he may be a possible flight risk, although his attorney, Edward Chernoff, argued on the contrary, and said that Dr. Murray is broke because of this case.
Murray surrendered his passport and was remanded to custody. He is reportedly planning on posting bond and can travel within the United States.
