Amy Yasbeck Compares NBC Late-Night Debacle to Prom Dates

ET’s Mary Hart hosted City of Hope’s “Spirit of Life” Award Gala Wednesday night in Los Angeles. At the event, “Wings”’ Amy Yasbeck compared the Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien saga to drama commonly found in high school hallways.
She said it reminds her of when someone finds a better prom date and just betrays the person they were originally committed to go with. When asked to take sides, she said, “I’m torn between two hosts. I love Jay Leno, but I love Conan O’Brien. He’s such a goofball and I’m crazy about him.”
Yasbeck also brought a new perspective to the situation, saying, “Andy Richter, I would tune in just to see Andy, but that’s me.”
