Sherri Shepherd Turns her Heartbreak into a Comedy

Sherri Shepherd’s ex-husband cheated on her and got another woman pregnant. Now she turns her misfortune into a comedy, "Sherri," premiering on Lifetime TV.
"He has not seen the show," Sherri tells ET about her ex. "He lives in Los Angeles and I understand that there are billboards everywhere. I don’t know if it is Lifetime’s doing, but there is one around the corner from the house. He hasn’t seen [the show] and she hasn’t seen it — my stepson’s mother — they will see it when it comes out on Oct. 5. I guess I will find out then what they think about it."
Despite "Sherri"’s dealing with a difficult time in her life, Sherri says she is handling the subject matter in a positive way.
