Santa Barbara DA Calls for Randy and Evi Quaid to Voluntarily Return to California

Following their arrest last Thursday in Texas, actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid are being asked to voluntarily return to California. The Santa Barbara District Attorney is requesting their appearance in this criminal case.
Lee Carter, Senior Deputy District Attorney, told ET, "Should the defendants not agree to voluntarily return to California, or should they fail to appear on a date agreeable to both sides, then this office will seek to extradite the defendants by legal process back to California."
The Quaid’s were arrested for allegedly not paying a $10,000 hotel bill at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, CA. The couple posted bail to be released from jail.
Michael Jackson’s Former Lawyers Sue His Estate

The lawyers who represented Michael Jackson during his molestation trial, in which he was ultimately acquitted of 14 charges, are now suing the late singer’s estate.
ET can confirm that attorneys Thomas Mesereau Jr. and Susan Yu have filed a $341,452 claim against Jackson’s estate.
The attorneys claim they are owed the money for legal services rendered after the trial, from approximately July 2005 through February 2006.
Sherri Shepherd Turns her Heartbreak into a Comedy

Sherri Shepherd’s ex-husband cheated on her and got another woman pregnant. Now she turns her misfortune into a comedy, "Sherri," premiering on Lifetime TV.
"He has not seen the show," Sherri tells ET about her ex. "He lives in Los Angeles and I understand that there are billboards everywhere. I don’t know if it is Lifetime’s doing, but there is one around the corner from the house. He hasn’t seen [the show] and she hasn’t seen it — my stepson’s mother — they will see it when it comes out on Oct. 5. I guess I will find out then what they think about it."
Despite "Sherri"’s dealing with a difficult time in her life, Sherri says she is handling the subject matter in a positive way.
Lakers Players React to Lamar Odom’s Marriage to Khloe Kardashian

ET’s Kevin Frazier caught up with Lamar Odom and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates to get their reactions to Odom’s weekend wedding to reality star Khloe Kardashian.
Team leader Kobe Bryant said Lamar talked about Khloe differently than other girls, referring to her as his soulmate. "The wedding itself was very peaceful, very well done. Everyone had a wonderful time," Kobe tells ET of the Sunday ceremony.
Lamar talks to Kevin about making the leap from sports star to celebrity, saying, "Crossing over has never been a problem for me. … I’m still Lamar."

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff’s new blog entry reveals that a romance may be developing on the set of the "Dancing" show.
Karina is interviewing her partner Aaron Carter on her Fancast blog, and the pop star confesses he has a crush on dancing pro Chelsie Hightower.
"There is a dancer I like; that is absolutely true. Chelsie," Aaron tells Karina.

ET can confirm that Tori Spelling went to the hospital on Monday, and then returned Tuesday due to abdominal pain. A rep for the actress says that she underwent testing Tuesday when her condition did not improve overnight.
